Calling All Chalk Artists!
FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. – Are you a chalk artist? Do you know a chalk artist? We need your help to spread the word that chalk artists of all skill levels or those who just want to experience the art form for the first time are invited to join us at Labor Day at The Post this year. There’s $250 in prize money on the line, and if the talent displayed at Patriotism at The Post by the artists (see photo below) is any indication, the competition will be stiff.

This is not the first-time chalk art has adorned Barnhardt Circle. For Patriotism at The Post on July 3, chalk artists, school students, young and old alike took to the street to showcase their art with smashing success. Patriotic art, Super Heroes, landscapes and iconic American symbols were just a few of the creations. The artwork was thoroughly enjoyed by the community. The organizers of Labor Day at The Post are keeping the art movement alive and look forward to chalk art returning to Barnhardt Circle on September 3.
