FREE Chalk Artist Registration for the West Ponce Music Stroll
Decatur, GA's West Ponce businesses are opening their patios and parking lots, transforming them into stages for a day of free, live music and fun during the West Ponce Music Stroll on September 24, 2022, 10am-7pm. 

Enjoy three areas of chalk creations while listening to live bands. See professional chalk artists draw, create your own drawing in a competition with cash prizes, or walk up to participate in a free community chalk walk.

Who: Organized by Queen Art and Design in partnership with Decatur Makers
Theme: Inventions and Innovations

CHALK OPPORTUNITIES
 - Chalk Exhibition includes an opt-in competition. 
 - Artists will draw chalk pieces within 4' x 4' sidewalk squares.
 - Register to receive an artist bag with sidewalk chalk, chalk pastels, stickers, and more!
 - Awards will be given in the following categories - Youth, Young Adult, Adult
 - Judging will begin at 3pm
 - Awards and Cash prizes will be announced at 4pm.

Community Chalk Walk is open to walk-up artists and community members! The curated images and large format words will vary in size. Participants can join us at 10am until 4pm.

SCHEDULE
 - Community chalk area runs all day
 - Competition runs from 10am-4pm.
 - Judging starts at 3pm and awards are presented at 4pm.
